HDL Tutorial : How to Upload Bank & Branches in Oracle cloud through HDL

This is the fifth Part of the HDL Tutorial , In this post, We will be discuss about , How we can mass upload Bank & Branches in Oracle Cloud application. HDL is the Interface which help us to Import the Bank & Branches from external system in to Cloud system. We can upload mass number of bank and branches records in cloud application with the help of HDL tool. HDL has given us the business object which supports Bank & Branches. First of all , We need to find this business object look our for mandatory information's , which required for HDL business object to import Bank & Branches.

If you want to search the Business Object for Bank & Branches then you can need to follow these below steps.

 

Go to Navigator ==> Then below Data Exchange

 

Then Data Exchange ==> HCM Data Loader ==> View Business Objects

 

 

Step2:-  As below , these are the Business Objects , supported by HDL. We can find all the Data Objects of HCM supported by HDL.       

 

Here below you can Lookout for Bank & Branches Business object to Import Bank & Branches in Oracle cloud.

 

For Bank business object is "Bank"

For Branches business object is "BankBranch"

 

 

Step 3:- Once we found the Business Object , Then We need to use this Business Object to Import/Upload Bank & Bank Branches.

 

Bank Import :-

For Bank , We need to prepare the Data in this Below Format.

"METADATA|Bank|BankName|BankNumber|CountryCode" is the MetaData which will always be constant and from line second , we need to enter the Banks information's which we want to import in Oracle Cloud Application.

 

METADATA|Bank|BankName|BankNumber|CountryCode
MERGE|Bank|HDFC BANK||IN
MERGE|Bank|STATE BANK OF INDIA||IN

 

Bank Branches Import:-

For Bank Branches , we need to Prepare the Data in this Below Format.

 

"METADATA|BankBranch|BankBranchNumber|BankBranchName|BankName|CountryCode|EftSwiftCode" is the MetaData which will always be constant and from line second , we need to enter the Banks information's which we want to import in Oracle Cloud Application.

 

METADATA|BankBranch|BankBranchNumber|BankBranchName|BankName|CountryCode|EftSwiftCode
MERGE|BankBranch|HDFC0000110|HDFC0000110|HDFCBANK|IN|

MERGE|BankBranch|HDFC00001340|HDFC00001340|HDFC BANK|IN|

 

Step4:- Once you have prepared the Data for Bank & Bank Branches in different -2 files.

 

For Bank , We need to prepare the File Bank.dat and for Bank Branches We need to prepare the File BankBranch.dat

 

Once these files will be prepared then we need to put Bank.dat file in Bank.Zip folder and BankBranch.dat file in BankBranch.Zip folder.

 

 

Step 6:- Once we have prepared the Zip files then we need to import these file in Oracle cloud with the help of HDL tool as below. Once the zip file have been prepared. Then We need to go Data Exchange

 

 

Then Data Exchange ==> HCM Data Loader ==> Import and Load Data

Import the Bank and then BankBranch zip file in cloud application and check the results after that.
