How to Create Employee As a Supplier in Oracle Application :Automate supplier creation through Employee

In Oracle Application , We can create Employee as a supplier by two ways. First method we can create supplier manual through employee reference second , we can automate supplier creation through employees data when we are importing the Employees expense reports.

Manually Creating supplier Through Employee references :-

Go to Supplier Creation Page in Oracle Payables :-

To create Supplier From Employee Select the Supplier Type : Supplier used to Process expense payments to internal employees.

Select the Employee number from which you want to create supplier.
Select the Supplier sites (Home ,Office , Provisional)

                                                                                         

 

To Automate Supplier creation through Expense report import in oracle application.

To create Supplier Automatically in Payables during Expense report imports , you have to enable this option in the Payables Options under Expense Report Tab.

By this option , system check during expense report import , if any employee is not created as supplier then system automatically create supplier for this employees and assign the default payment terms ' Immediate' and 'Pay Group' Emergency'

To Automate Supplier creation through Expense report import in oracle application , we also need to do this below setup in Oracle Payables ==> Financials Option ==> Human Resource Tab.
