Create item in oaf personalization

In this post , I will share you the Steps to create New item or Fields in the OAF page through Personalizations. Usually we create new Items in the OAF page to show new information in the OAF page so we add new field in the OAF page through Personalization. In this Post , I will only share the steps to create new item in the OAF Page through Personalizations but if you want to see how we will do VO Extensions first then you can refer VO Extensions

 

 

Here below is the Step to create a Item in Oaf Page through OAF Personalization

 

 Go Back to the OAF page in application where we want to create new Item. Now Click on the 'Personalize Link' Highlighted below.

 

I have already did the VO extension part so in this post I am only creating the New Field/Item in the OAF Page.

 

 

 

 

 

Step24:- Now click on Create Item Icon as below to add new field in the View Object.

 

 

 

 

Step25:- Create Item with Style 'Message Styled Text'.

 

 

 

Step26:- Give the Item Properties as below.

 

 

Step27:- Give the name of the Extended View Object  in View Instance and the Name of your New View object Column in the View Attribute as below.

 

 

Step28:- Now we can see below Tracking No. field displaying in the OAF Expense Home Page.
