for-each-group@column

for-each-group@column is uses in the XML publisher to create the reports columns dynamically. When we have an Requirment in which our Report columns are not static , and these columns can increase and decrease based on the output of the report so we uses the   for-each-group@column syntax to create the columns dynamically in the report. This syntax helps to create the dynamic column in the xml reports.

For example this is the Sample output as below of the XML publisher report

This is the Template we design for this Output with the for-each-group@column

Default Text Entry
Form Field Help Text Entry
Group:TestScores
<?for-each:TestScores?>
Test Category
<?TestCategory?>
Column Header and Splitting
<?split-column-header:TestScore?> <?split-column-width:@width?> <?TestScoreRange?>%
Content and Splitting
<?split-column-data:TestScore?> <?NumofStudents?>
end:TestScores
<?end for-each?>

Here we can see the Output showing below , where columns are creating Dynamically.
