How to create vo in oaf

In this post , we will discuss about VO in OAF. VO is must to create in the OAF , if we want to display information's in the OAF page from Data base or want to create the Insert OAF page like , We want to take inputs from user in the OAF page and want to save in the Database. VO can be two types. First is VO can be created by the Independent SQL query. This type of VO is uses to display information's in the OAF page but now used to insert information's in the Database. Second Type of VO is Entity Object (EO) based means we are creating VO from the Database Table Entity Object. This type of view object is used to Insert information's in the database from the OAF Page.

 

Steps to Create vo in oafRight Click on the project "RohitDataEntryOaf".Click New

EO Based VO

 Enter the View Object name="SupplierEntryVO"

Defualt Package="rohit.oracle.apps.fnd.RohitDataEntryOaf.server"

we create "View Object" under the "Server" directory of the project as OAF Standard.

Click Next.

Select the "SupplierEntryEO" in the left hand side and then shuttle this to the right and then click Next.

 Click Next and then Finish.
