How to customize oaf page in oracle apps

In Oracle application , we cannot customize the OAF page in Oracle apps but oracle has provided another feature in oaf that is Extensions. We cannot customize the oaf page but we can extend the oaf page. With OAF Extensions, We can display new fields in the OAF page , we can put some extra validation in the OAF page and we can change the OAF layouts also so extensions are very important in the oaf framework. Here in this post , I am sharing the example in which you can help to understand how we can customize and extend the oaf page. We can extend or Customize the OAF Page through OAF extensions through three ways. One is VO Extension Second is CO Extension and Third is AM extension.

 

Here below I am sharing the Example to Customize the Page in OAF.

 

If you want to add new field or Display new information in the OAF page , then you need to do the VO Extension . Here below I am sharing the example of VO Extension and want to add new field in the OAF Page.
