Open interface in oracle apps
Oracle Applications has provided Open Interface feature in the application by which we can integrate the Oracle application with the External Applications. With Open Interface in oracle apps , we do integrations with external applications. Oracle has provided many open interfaces in the application by which we can integrate different - different oracle application modules with the external software's. Here below i am sharing the most important Open Interfaces in oracle apps.
Supplier Open Interface in Oracle apps.
Oracle application has provided two Open interface import programs , which helps to integrate the external Supplier Application with the Oracle Suppliers by which we can create Supplier from External system to the Oracle application. These below import programs help to import the Suppliers Records from Supplier Interface Table to the Oracle base Tables. We need to Insert the Supplier Records in Oracle Supplier Interface table and then these below program validate these records and then move these records to the base tables.

Interface Import 2.Payables Open Interface Import:- Oracle Application has provided the Payables Open interface in oracle apps to integrate the External Payables Application with the Oracle application. We can create the AP invoices from External System in to the Oracle application through this Payables Open Interface Import program. It imports the AP invoices from Oracle Payables Interface table to the Oracle Standard Base Tables. |
3.Import Journals :-
This import program helps to import the GL journals from the External Application to the Oracle Application. This import program moves the records from GL Journals Interfaces tables to the Oracle application Base Tables.
4.Import Items:-
This Program helps to Create the Inventory Items from External Application to the Oracle application. This Item Import programs helps to move the records from the Item interface table to the Oracle Base Tables.
