In this post , We will discuss about OTBI data security. We will try to implement Data security in the OTBI reports but First of all we need to learn what is Data Security in Oracle OTBI reports and how we can implement this. Data Security in OTBI reports means , When user will run and design the OTBI reports he can see only the Application data in which he or she has access. It means we will put security in the OTBI reports data so that user will be able to access the Business Unit Data according to the Data Security Rule. Here below I will share how we can implement the OTBI data Security.

 

 

 How to implement OTBI Data security in Oracle Cloud

 

Go to Setup and Maintenance and then Search the ‘Manage Data Access for Users’ as below.

 

Click on the ‘+’ icon to create the Data Access for Application User.

As below Select the User Name and Role and Security Type like ‘Business Unit’ & ‘Ledger’ many more.
