This is some thing required when we did the wrong transaction in the AR system and want to enter the correct one so we need to delete that AR Invoice in the system. But we cannot delete each and every AR Invoice in oracle apps. In this post , I will also share which AR Transactions we can delete and which we don't. Here below is the Complete Setup and the Steps to delete ar invoice in oracle apps.

 

Steps to delete ar invoice in oracle apps

 Step1: -Allow transaction deletion :-

 

This option helps to delete the AR transactions (Invoices, Credit Memo) in oracle apps. We need to enable this. Option in Oracle apps receivables setup so that we can able to delete the transactions. allow transaction deletion oracle can only delete the incomplete AR transactions if the transactions are in the complete status then we cannot delete this these transactions so first we need to incomplete that transaction then we can delete that transaction. allow transaction deletion oracle is the feature available in the Oracle receivables. Here below are the complete steps for allow transaction deletion oracle.

Step2:- AR System Options > Trans and Customers tab > Check Allow Transaction Deletion > Save

Step3:- First we need to Incomplete the AR Invoice  in oracle receivables

 

 

Step4:- Go to the Transaction and delete it normally with the Delete Option menu.

 

AR Invoice Cannot be Deleted in these two Conditions

1.       We can only Delete the Incomplete Transactions so If the Transaction is complete then first Incomplete this.

 

2.       Transaction cannot be deleted if the Accounting for that Transactions happened.
