In this post , we will be discuss about Move order types in oracle apps r12. First of all we need to Understand What is Move order. Move order is Kind of Material Request Form which we are giving to the Store Manager. In this Move order We providing the Details of Which Inventory Item we need , the Qty for that Item and the Location Means Subinventory in which we need this material in the Company so this is all about Move order. 3 Types of Move orders In Oracle Apps R12

1.Move Order Requisition

2.Replenishment Move Order

3.Wave Pick Move Order.

 

Move Order Requisition :- 

 When we creates Move Order Manually to request some material from Store to the other Subinventory then we create that Move order with the Type Move Order Requisition. This Move order can go to approval or not as per the business process. After approval it ready to show in the Transaction Move Order

 

Replenishment Move Order:-

  This kind of move order automatically generated by the system process to require material. These System Processes can be 'Min/Max Plaining report' , 'Kanban Report' etc . These are preapproved move orders.

 

Wave Pick Move Order:-

These move order specially  for the Sales order process. When Sale order need stock to complete the shipment to the Customer then System run Pick Release in the system. Pick Release generate' s Wave Pick Move Order to transfer the Finish good material from FG subinventory to the Staging Subinventory for the Final Shipment. 

 

These are preapproved move orders.
