How to Print the Barcode
in BIP reports output in Oracle Fusion
Here we are going to
discuss about the Barcode feature in the Oracle Fusion BIP reports. Some time
we need to print the Barcodes in the Reports output as per the business requirements
and that was the tedious job in Oracle Apps. We need to add the font and
register in the XML Administrator to print this the Reports Output but if I will
compare this with Oracle Fusion, Then it’s quite easy job. Oracle Fusion has
already given us the Fonts to print the Barcode in the BIP reports Output but
this is only available in the BIP reports. Here below I will share the Complete
steps to Print the Barcode in Oracle Fusion
BIP reports output.
Steps to Print the
Barcode in Oracle Fusion BIP reports
Step1:- For Example this
Below is my Purchase Order Template and I want to Print the Barcode in this
Report. Here I will convert the PO number to the Barcode Font.
Step3:- Now we need to go to the BIP reports. Go to Reports and Analytics and then Catalog. Find the Report in which you want to Print the Barcode and Click on Edit as below.
Step4:- Now Go to the Properties of the BIP report and then Go to the Font Mapping Tab.
Step5:- Now here we need to Create the New Font mapping for 'code128a' or for Barcode. Click on the '+' icon to create.
Step6:- In the Font Family field, enter ‘Bookman’. From the Target Font choice list, select ‘128R00.TTF’
Step2:- Here below is
the syntax I need to put in the RTF to covert the PO number to the Barcode
Font. 'PONUMBER' is the column of the report which having PO number information.
Step3:- Now we need to go to the BIP reports. Go to Reports and Analytics and then Catalog. Find the Report in which you want to Print the Barcode and Click on Edit as below.
Step4:- Now Go to the Properties of the BIP report and then Go to the Font Mapping Tab.
Step5:- Now here we need to Create the New Font mapping for 'code128a' or for Barcode. Click on the '+' icon to create.
