How to create new fonts in Oracle Fusion to use in the BIP reports
We will be discussing about how we can create new fonts to
use in the BIP reports. If we have an Requirment to use the special type of
fonts to be use in the BIP reports output, then we need to register that font
in oracle fusion for using in the BIP reports. Oracle Fusion allow us to upload
new fonts and then use in the BIP reporting. Special Fonts usually we need
during working with Banking reports which we need to sent to banks for
verification and for security reasons banks accept the banking reports in some
specific font. Here I will try to explain one example to create the new fonts
in oracle fusion for using in the Oracle Cloud BIP reports.
Steps to create new fonts in Oracle Fusion to use in the BIP reports
Step1:- We need to go the Tools è Reports and Analytics è Browse Catalog.
Step2:- In the BIP dashboard , We need to go to the Top
Right corner and click on the ‘Administration’
Step3:- After ‘Administration’ we need to go to the BI
publisher è
Manage BI Publisher as highlighted below.
Step4:- Under Runtime
Configurations è
We need to go to the Font Mappings.
Step5:- To Create any
Font in any application we should have the TTF file for that font. TTF
represents the True Type File for that font.
As below We need to click on the Browse Option and Upload
the Font.ttf file.
Step6:- Once we have uploaded the Font TTF file then we need
to create the Font Mappings with that uploaded Font TTF file.
Click on the Button ‘Add Font Mappings’
Enter the Font Name same as the TTF file without using TTF
extension.
In the Target Font , select the Right Uploaded TTF file in Step
