In this post , we will discuss about the move order approval setup in oracle. Move order is the process , in which we do create a material transfer request from one sub inventory to another sub inventory. In move order approval setup , we do configure the approval process for each material transfer request from and to sub inventory so each time move order transfer approval request will come to the defined item planner for the move order item and then item planner will approve or reject that move order request so this is the complete overview of the move order approval setup and here below i will share the detail steps for move order approval setup in oracle.

Step by Step for move order approval setup in oracle

Step1:- First , We need to create the planner who will approve the Item Move order Request. Each Planner should be valid employee and that employee should attach to valid User account. 

Inventory è Setup è Planner

Planner Name : Test Plner

Employee : TEST, TEST

Step2:- Now We need to go to items , For which we want to enable the Move Order approval. We need to attach the planer in this item. 

In this case i have created the new item 'TEST ITEM'

Step3:- Under General Planning tab in Item Master , I have assigned the Planner name created in Step1.

Step 4:- Now we need to go the Inventory Responsibility and then go to Organization Parameters.

Setup è Organizations è Organization

For Move order approval Setup , we need to put some value in Move Order Timeout Period and Move Order Timeout Action as highlighted below.

Step 5:- Here below , Now i am going to create the Move Order request for 'Test Item'.

Step 6:- Here below I have create move order for the Item 'TEST ITEM' and click on the Approve Button.

Step 7:- Here we can see Move Order Status Showing 'Pending Approval'

Step 8:- After this , we need to go to the Planner('Test Plner') Login and see that Move Order Approval Request. If notification not seeing in the application Home Page , Then need to check in the Notification's.

Step 9:- Then , here below is the move order approval request , and we can approve and Reject the move order as per our business requirement.
