Hi friends, We are going to discuss about sftp file transfer in oracle fusion. We will share the detail steps to configure the sftp server in oracle fusion. We will also share the process in which we can send the BIP report output directly into the sftp server. In Oracle Fusion, We can transfer the report output directly into the other servers using sftp. For file transfer we don't need any SOA or middle ware platform. This SFTP file transfer feature is one of the great feature in oracle fusion which could save lots of amount for the file transfer. Oracle fusion , itself provides the file transfer feature , we just need to configure the server in Oracle fusion and then in the BIP report , we need to configure that server to send the reports output directly into the sftp server in oracle fusion. Here below is the detail steps for sftp file transfer in oracle fusion.

Step by Step to configure sftp file transfer in oracle fusion 

Step1:- Go to Tools and Reposts and analytics.

Step2:- As below Click on the Reports and Analytics.

Step3:- Click on the Browse Catalog button to go to BI Server.

Step4:- Now Click on the Administrations Tab.

Step5:- As Highlighted Below , Go to BI Publisher ==> Manage BI Publishers

Step 6:- As Highlighted Below  We need to Goto Delivery Heading and then ==> FTP.

Step 7:-  Here below  , We need to configure the SFTP server. We should have the required details for the SFTP server to which we will transfer the file from Oracle Fusion. 

Here below we both have option to go for FTP or SFTP.

Step 8:-  Now our SFTP server configurations has been completed. Now the next step is to goto that BIP report which output we want to sent this SFTP server. 

Here below this is the BIP report and click on More options as below.

Step 9:-  Now In 'More' Option , We need to select the 'Schedule' as below.

Step 10:- In Schedule , We need to goto the Output Tab as below. 

We need to define the Destination Type= 'FTP' and Click on 'Add Destination' button.

Step 11:-  Here below , We need to select the sftp server which we configured earlier in this post and enter the required details like sftp server directory under which we want to put this report output file and other credentials details for that sftp user to connect to this sftp server location from cloud.
