1. Know the DFF name in Lookups

2. After knowing name need to enable/configure the dff in lookup

Step by step to enable dff in lookup

Step 1:- Here first is the Lookup form. We first need to know the dff name in lookup. To know the name we need to click on the dff field in the end.

Then in the next step we need to go to the Help è Diagnostic è Examine

Here below we can see the Block and Field Name. Field name is DFF name in lookup.

Step 2:- We need to copy the name of the lookup.

Application ==> Flexfield==> Descriptive ==> Segments

Need to first unfreeze the DFF by clicking on this Unfreeze checkbox.

We are not creating context sensitive segments so we will create the dff segments under 'Global Data Elements'. It means , these dff segments will be shown to all in the application level.
