Hi friends , so this is the sixth lesson of our Procure To Pay(P2P) configurations learning series in Oracle Fusion. In Lesson 6, we will Discuss and perform the Common Procurement Configurations & setups in Oracle Fusion. In this post , We will be create the Inventory Org in Oracle Fusion for Procurement setup. In last posts , we have created the Location & Business Unit for Procurement setup in oracle fusion.
Common Procurement Configurations
In this post , We will Perform the below Common Procurement configuration tasks. We need to perform these below tasks for procurement setups in oracle fusion.
- Create Location ( Completed in Last Posts)..
- Create Business Unit ( Completed in Last Posts).
- Create Inventory Org (Will Create in this Post).
- Configure Business Unit
- Manage Receiving parameters
Creating Inventory Org In Oracle Fusion
Step 1:- Search for Task - Manage Inventory Organizations
Step 2:-
In the Manage Inventory Organizations page click on the Create icon
Step 3:-
Enter the Basic Information: Make sure you associate your initials to the Name and Code
Name : Inventory Organization Name (e.g. ABC Inventory Org)
Organization : Enter Organization code (e.g.ABCORGCODE)
Management Business Unit : Your Business Unit
Legal Entity : ABC Legal Entity
Profit Center Business Unit : ABC Business Unit (Not Mandatory)
Status : Active
Step 4:-
The Location Address details gets defaulted
Name : Your Location (Which is created earlier)
Internal or External : Internal
Step 5:- Click Next button to navigate to Manage Inventory Organization Parameters page for your inventory organization.
Under General Tab , select below values
Schedule : Operations
Item Master Organization : Operations
Step 6:-
Review details in other tabs
Click Save and Close
Click Done
