Bursting Program Error oracle.apps.xdo.oa.cp.JCP4XDOBurstingEngine.getSystemTempDirectory
Hi friends, In this post we will de discuss about the Bursting program very common error of oracle.apps.xdo.oa.cp.JCP4XDOBurstingEngine.getSystemTempDirectory. When we enable bursting in oracle apps for the concurrent program and then run the 'XML Publisher Report Bursting Program to burst the report output of the concurrent program , then at that point we got this error. Standard Program 'XML Publisher Report Bursting Program' went into error while running. In the Program log , we can able to find the error log details. In the Log we can able to trace the error messages The error oracle.apps.xdo.oa.cp.JCP4XDOBurstingEngine.getSystemTempDirectory in the bursting program shows , we have not set the server tmp directory in the xml publisher. In the xml publisher , we need to set the temp directory path before using the xml bursting feature in oracle apps. Steps to set the Temp directory in XML publisher for System Temp Directory error in XML Bursting
To resolve the error in Bursting program 'oracle.apps.xdo.oa.cp.JCP4XDOBurstingEngine.getSystemTempDirectory', We need to do this below configurations in Oracle apps.
Step 1:- Go to XML Publisher Responsibility.
In XML Responsibility ==> Administration
Step 2:- In Administration ==> Go to Configurations ==> General.
Step 3:- Under General , We need to set the temp directory part of oracle server.
If you don't know the temp directory path , then you need to contact with Oracle DBA's , they can share the Temp directory path. In Oracle Apps, We always have temp directory in the server. We just need to know the temp path and then put under the General.
Step 4:- After setting the temp directory path in XML Publisher Administration , We need to run the bursting program again and verify this issue. Issue should be resolved after that.
Step 5:- After performing these above steps , we can able to set the temp directory in XML Publisher and resolve this xml error 'oracle.apps.xdo.oa.cp.JCP4XDOBurstingEngine.getSystemTempDirectory'
