How to Manage Data Access/ Business Unit access for Application Users in Oracle Fusion

In this post, we will discuss, how we can provide the Data access or Business unit access to the Application users in the Oracle application. We need to implement the data security in the oracle application to control, users cannot see the data from other Business Units. For this We can use these below setups to control the data access to the users and can limit this BU’s access in the Fusion Application. Oracle fusion has provided the Data Access for users feature to implement the Data Security in the Oracle Fusion.
 

Setup of How to Manage Data Access/ Business Unit access for Application Users in Oracle Fusion

Go to Setup and Maintenance and then Search the ‘Manage Data Access for Users’ as below.

Click on the ‘+’ icon to create the Data Access for Application User.
As below Select the User Name and Role and Security Type like ‘Business Unit’ & ‘Ledger’ many more.
