Credit card tables in oracle apps
We do use Credit Card in Oracle apps , for different transactions. To use credit card in oracle apps we need to sync the credit card information with the respected bank so that we gets the information from the bank on that. Most of the Companies provides credit card for their employees for their Official Expenses and travels and employee do the payment against these card bill but do the reimbursement against these bills from the company by submitting their expense reports. So in this Oracle Provides the standard functionality in which we can sync the credit card transactions with the Expense reports means employees does not need to enter all the Credit card transactions manually. but this Oracle Functionality , We can integrate the Credit Card Bank with the Oracle and Bank just provide the Credit card transactions in the file from bank to oracle and then oracle import these files the system so that when employees book their expenses they can see their credit card expenses in the expense report. 3 Important Credit card tables in oracle apps
1.AP_CARD_PROGRAMS_ALL :-
This is the Parent Table for the Credit Card tables. Here we do registers all the Credit Card Banks information's. Without this we cannot integrate any credit card bank with the Oracle System. We need to enter the Credit Card bank required information's in this Table/
2. AP_CARDS_ALL :-
This is the Master table of the Credit Cards Holder. This provide Information's about which Credit Card is associated with which Employee in the System. This is very important to identify the Employees Credit Card Transactions.
3.AP_CREDIT_CARD_TRXNS_ALL :-
This table hold all the credit card transactions information's coming from the banks for the Credit cards under the Credit Card programs all.
