How to Migrate the Report Source Code from One Instance to Another in Oracle Fusion

Source code migration is very important steps when we are doing the development. We need to move the source code from Development to Production instance once this is freeze. In Oracle Apps r12 , We uses different approach to migrate the reports source from Test to Production. Because we develops the reports outside the application then upload that code in the application later on But in Oracle Fusion , As I said in previous posts , Reports tool is integrated inside the fusion application and we design the reports under the application so we have different strategy to migrate the reports source from Test to Production.

As I said , Oracle Fusion BIP reports has two parts and two developed any BIP report we need to develop both these two parts step by step like below
1.BIP Reports Data Model
2.BIP Report (Reports Template Part)

First we create the Data Model , In which we write the SQL query for the BIP reports. In the Data Model we writes the SQL query and create the reports group and parameters as per our Requirment and then save this Data Model.

Second Once the Data Model create then We create the report on the Basis of this created Data Model. In this Report creation , We deign the Layouts of the Report based on the Data Model.

To Identify the Report and Data Model Object in the Oracle Fusion we need to follow these below signs

For Data Model : Highlighted one is the Data Model sign

For BIP Reports : Highlighted one is the Report sign
