How to Create the Dependent Value Set in the Oracle Fusion Application
Dependent Vale set means those value sets whose list of value sets depends on the value of some other Independent Value set. If want to limit the value shows to user based on the user input on other value set then we uses this Dependent value set in oracle fusion. Here in this post I will share the complete process of Dependent Value Set in the Oracle Fusion Application.
Steps to Create the Dependent Value Set in the Oracle Fusion Application
Step1:- Go to Setup and Maintenance Role.
Step2:- Find Manage Value Set as below

Step3:- First I am creating the Independent Value Set Name "XX_TEST_FIRST'. Here Below I have created the Value Set. Now to enter Values inside this Value set , we need to Click on the 'Manage Values' Button in the right side of the top.
Step4:- Now Click on the '+' icon to enter the values inside 'XX_TEST_FIRST'
Step5:- These two values entered for First Value set.
Step6:- Now again go back and Create the Second Value set 'XX_TEST_SECOND' which will be dependent on the First Value set 'XX_TEST_FIRST'.
Validation Type : Dependent
Select the First Value set in the Independent Value set Field 'XX_TEST_FIRST'
Step7:- Now here we will be create the Value for the Second Dependent Value set 'XX_TEST_SECOND' which will be depend on the First Independent Value set 'XX_TEST_FIRST' VALUE 'VALUE1'
Step8:- Now 'ABC CONSULTANCY' will depend upon 'VALUE1' of the First Value set.
