In
oracle cloud , if any custom BIP report ESS job error out or completed in
warning then this is very tuff job to find out the trace of this issue as
custom ess jobs does not show any logs of the reports. Oracle Cloud has given
some features through which we can trouble shoot any BIP report and find out
the actual issue. To start trouble shoot for any report , we need to make some
changes in the BIP report level. Here below I will share the details steps to

Step1:- We need to go to the Reports & Analytics è Then find the actual
BIP report for which we want to do this Trouble Shoot.
For Example this is the report which we want to troubleshoot
the error or issue.
Click on More Option as highlighted below.

Now click on the More è
Schedule option as highlighted below.
Step3:-
Now under ‘Diagnostic’ Tab we need to enable these check
boxes for tracing & troubleshoot the issues.
SStep4:- When we will run this BIP report either from BIP
dashboard directly or through ESS job schedule process , we can download the
Diagnostic log as highlighted below to troubleshoot the report issues.

Can we use List of Values parameters (as opposed to just Text box page element) that are defined in the ESS Job and pass them to the corresponding BIP Data Model parameters? I am currently facing an issue with having parameters configured in the ESS Job as List of Values parameters. When I run the job, it returns an error back from BIP with "Invalid Parameters Requested".
