I will be share the most common used method to run a sql query in oracle fusion which helps to extract the data from system in oracle fusion. Here below is the details steps to run a SQL query in Oracle Fusion.
Step by step to run a SQL query in Oracle Fusion
Step 1:- Login to Oracle Fusion and go to Menu Navigator as below and Click on Reports and Analysis option.

Give the name of Data Set:= XX_INVOICE_DETAILS
Data Source:= ApplicaionDB_FSCM

1. Login to Sales Cloud
2. Navigator> Reports and Analytics

This takes you to the BI Application of OSC.
3. Click New> Data Model
4. Under Diagram tab click the Add "+" icon and select "SQL Query"
5. Give the query a name, Select Data Source ApplicaionDB_FSCM, and copy and paste the SQL query.
Give the name of Data Set:= XX_SUPPLIER_SITES
Data Source:= ApplicaionDB_FSCM
