Hi friends, we are going to discuss about how to change employee legal employer in fusion. We will share the complete information and the detail steps to change the Legal Employer for an employee in oracle fusion. In oracle fusion, When we create the Employee we need to assign the employee under the Legal Employer. Legal employer represents under which employer this employee is working. We do assign the Legal Employer in Employee Work relationships. One Employee can have multiple work relationships assigned to different legal employers but only one work relationship remains/should active at a time. If we want to change the legal employer then we need to end the existing work relationship for the employee and then create the new work relationship with new legal employer for the employee in this way employee legal employer got changed. 2 Ways to Change the Employee Legal Employer in Fusion

1. Terminate the employee and then rehire with new Legal Employer.
2.Global Transfer the employee to new Legal Employer.

Step by Step to change the Employee Legal Employer in Oracle Fusion


Step 1:- We need to goto the Person management to find out that employee.

Navigator ==> My Client Groups ==> Person management.

Step 2:-

In Person Management  , Search the Employee 'Vijay Sharma' whose legal employer we want to change to  'ABC LE' Legal Employer . Click on the employee name highlighted as below.

Step 3:- Here below is the Employee detail , We need to click on the Edit button ==> Update.

Step 4:- After Update , We need to select the below values to Transfer an Employee in Oracle Fusion hcm

Action: Global Transfer
Destination Legal Employer: ABC LE.
Copy Primary Assignment Data : No. If we want to copy the old assignment data then we can keep yes.

Step 5:-
Here below , We will see this below dialog message , it showing that old employee assignment with old LE is now Inactive.

Step 6:-
Here below , we can change in the employee name and then click next button.

Step 7:- Under Employment information , we need to enter the Employee business unit , supervisor , job details. 

Click next.

Step 8:-

Under Compensation and other Information's tab , we can enter the expense account details for the employee.

click Next.

Step 9:- This is the Final Steps to change the employer legal employer , Under Review section , we need to review all the entered informations and then click submit. After that Employee will be transfer in Oracle fusion hcm.

Step 10:- Now our Employee Legal Employer has been changed to New LE.
