Hi friends ,we are going to discuss about the receipt method remittance bank account in Oracle Fusion Receivables. When we do create a receipt method in oracle fusion receivables then we need to do define remittance bank account details for that receipt method. So that when user will book the customer receipt in oracle fusion then when he will select the receipt method for that receipt then automatically remittance bank account details got attached with that receipt. So receipt method is the required setup in oracle fusion receivables for booking customer receipts in oracle fusion. But before doing the receipt method setups we first need to do some other setups then we can do the receipt method remittance bank account setup in oracle fusion. Prerequisite for Receipt method remittance bank account setup in oracle fusion 

1. Our bank & Branch should be created in Cash Management

2.Bank account needs to de define under that bank branch,

3.In bank account , Receivables use by checkbox should be enabled then after that we can use that bank account in ar receipt method remittance.

4. 2 receivable activities with type Earned discount and unearned discount should be created for that BU for this we are going to perform the receipt method remittance bank account setups.

Issue reason for Earned and Unearned discount LOV is not showing under the receipt method remittance bank account in Oracle Fusion Receivables

This below issue comes when we missed to create receivable activities with type Earned discount and unearned discount should be created for that BU

The Earned discount and Unearned discounts can be configured in the following task:

Task: Manage Receivables Activities

1. Create the Receivables Activity for 'Earned Discount' for the Business Unit desired:

2. Create the Receivables Activity for 'Unearned Discount' for the Business Unit desired:

Navigate to task 'Manage Receipt Classes and Methods' - Create Remittance Banks and should see the values in LOV for 'Earned Discounts' and 'Unearned Discounts' as below:
