Create Customer Statement Schedule process not showing the cycle date for the current month
Hi friends, we are going to discuss about the Create Customer Statement process in oracle fusion. Create customer statement program help to send the customer account statements to customers. Create customer statement triggers the email from oracle fusion system to send the customer statements as per the cycle date parameter enters in the program parameter. We need to do some configurations if we want to use the create customer statement program in oracle fusion. In Receivable system options we need to define the email from address , email subject & body to use the Create customer statement process. We also need to create the statement cycles for each month when we need to run the create customer statement for the month. To use the create customer statement process we also need to do some setups for each customer also , if we want to send the customer statement automatically from system. We need to go to communication under customer site and enter the customer emails under that with responsibility type "statement". We often encountered very common issues when we run the create customer statement program in oracle fusion. Some time we are not able to see the statement cycle date in create customer statement parameter in oracle fusion. Please find below the complete steps below for the solution.
Reason why statement cycle date not in Create customer statement program
To implement the solution, please execute the following steps:When we create the statement cycle , we need to select the statement type like 'Monthly', 'Weekly' & Daily.
If we are using the statement cycle monthly then we need to create the statement cycle date for each month under BU. If we have not entered the statement cycle date for that month then that month statement cycle date will not be appear in the create customer statement program parameters.
Steps to resolve this issue
1. Navigate to Setup and Maintenance -> Manage Statement Cycles task.
2. Select the statement cycle and add statement dates.
3. Save and Close.
4. Try submitting Create Customer Statement and retest the issue.
5.Migrate the solution as appropriate to other environments.
Another important point , if you already created the statement cycle date for that month but it still not showing the create customer statement program.
As per setup, System does have only one statement date which is eligible to print, hence only statement date is shown in parameter lov.
Based on sql results, there are only 2 statement dates setup of which one statement date is already used to print customer statement. Hence, can not be used.
Users will be able to select statement dates which are setup in Define Statement Cycles task and for which Create Customer Statement is not run Print mode.
