Steps to migrate the ess jobs source code in Oracle Fusion

Step 1:- We do create the ESS jobs for custom BIP reports. In oracle Fusion , BIP reports is the combination of Two objects.

1. Reports (Template/Layout Design)

2.Data Model (SQL Query/Parameter Design).

Step2:-  We need to use these two Important Options to migrate the ess job source code from Instance to another instance as below.

1. Archive :- 

This Options helps to download the ess job source code in Local Desktop from Oracle fusion Application.

2.Unarchive :-

This Options helps to Upload the ess job source code from Local Desktop into the Oracle fusion Application.

Step 3:-  Go to Reports and Analytics where our reports usually Stores.

Login to Oracle Fusion and go to Menu Navigator as below and Click on Reports and Analysis option.

Step 4:- 

We need to goto the Desired Folder Path in which your reports has created in Oracle Fusion Reports.

Go to the Report which you want to migrate from one Instance to Another As I said reports have two parts(Data Model & Report) so we need to migrate both these one by one.

Here below is the ESS Job report source code  'XX_REPORT' which we want to migrate in oracle fusion

Click on More ==> Archive

Step 5:- 

Here below , we need to keep the permissions same as default.

Step 6:-  As below you can save this report in your local desktop.

Step 7:- Follow the Same steps from Step 4 to Step 7 for Report Data Model.

Step 8:- Now you have downloaded the BIP report (Data Model & Report) objects in your local desktop and the next step to upload these objects in the Target Instance.

Go to the Target Instance in which we want to migrate this Report Source Code.

Step 9:- As below this is the Folder in which I want to upload these Reports Source.

Click on the Folder Name in the Left hand Side.

In the Tasks Pan, You will see the Highlighted 'Unarchive' option. Click on that that.

Click on the Browse and select the Report Source code from your Local Desktop
